This summary is for all the books. And I would read them in order. It's a repeated summary for each book as I can't separate them in my mind anymore. I read them all in one sitting. What can I say? I love to read.Summary:
I've read 3 of these, and so they blur together, I'll leave the same review for each of them.
I like that there is an antidote.
I love a strong female lead. Maya is only 17 when the plague breaks out. It turns people into zombies. She is tough and finds some other survivors. As with other zombie books some live an some die.
Maya knows that after the breakout her dad is working on a cure. He said he was close, and she has to get to his lab to find it.
What is interesting is there is a zombie following Maya around. Ben Sawyer. He helps save her many times. She will not allow her friends to shoot him. Then he does the unthinkable. Ben becomes Maya's hero.
Good plot - light on the romance side. Maya is a little whiny, but not enough to bore me.
Is there really a cure? Keep reading. I like this trilogy enough to keep buying each book!

Zombies and a love story all in one. Exciting. Could not wait to see how it ended. Wonderful ending. A must read!
This was so good! It was way too short - but really, really good - a total MUST read!! YES!

Book 3 continues where 2 left off. The characters are developed, the plot is well established now and everything is coming together nicely with loose ends being tied up. A great, different type of 'zombie-type' story.
Full of action, angst and romance, the final book in Anna Abner's Red Plague trilogy was very good. While there was some repetition in the relationship between two of the main characters, those characters were compelling enough to prevent it from being a problem. I absolutely loved this trilogy and will definitely be looking at other books by this author.
I loved the ending and the writing stayed solid thorough all three books.
Ben and Maya now only with the two of them are on the way to Washington D.C to find their friends.
They have to fight of Reds and even humans. Ben is amazing we find out how he got Maya's picture and what was wrong with her brother. I liked the love building and world building. This is a great series.
After travelling through infected that are trying to kill Mia and Ben and uninfected who are trying to rob them and getting hurt they are in Washington, D. C. They are running for their lives when a van stops and one of their friends takes them to a secure location and a doctor who is able to analyze Ben's blood and develop the cure that Mia's father developed to change the Infected from zombies to uninfected.
They find three infected and the cure works. Kia and Ben find that they are ready to start their lives together.
Again I stayed up to finish the book.
I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who enjoys a good fiction story.
